Boiled Merino Wool Gloves - gray
Disana boiled wool gloves are indispensable companions, keeping hands dry and cozily warm for extended periods, thanks to the exceptional properties of natural wool. Perfect for a walk, a sled ride, or playing in the snow, they provide a natural barrier against cold temperatures. The wool's high lanolin content coats each fiber making them resistant to water.
The gloves are very comfortable for babies to wear, feeling soft and cozy against their sensitive skin without causing any itchiness. A finely knitted cord ensures the gloves stay together as a pair.

Hand Washing:
- Fill a sink or basin with lukewarm water (around 25°C) and add a mild wool detergent. Avoid regular detergents, as they contain enzymes that can break down wool fibers.
- Gently submerge the garment and lightly press it in the water for 1–2 minutes. Do not rub, wring, or stretch the fabric.
- Rinse with clean water at the same temperature to prevent shock and shrinkage.
- Carefully press out excess water without twisting. Lay the garment on a towel, roll it up to absorb moisture, then reshape and dry flat away from direct heat and sunlight.
Machine Washing:
- Select the Wool Wash or Hand Wash program with a maximum temperature of 30°C.
- Use a low spin setting (max 400 rpm) or choose a wool program that minimizes agitation.
- Always use a wool detergent to maintain fiber integrity.

I’ve had my eye on these Disana boiled wool mittens for some time. They are worth the investment and will carry us through a few years! Nice and warm for those chilly days!
These are cute, and I love that they have the string, but they do not keep my littles hands warm! They are fine for like 40 degrees, maybe a little colder than that. But when we get below 30, her hands feel like ice pretty quickly. Disana needs to make these thicker!
