The beanie hat can be worn up to a year old due to the fabric having a gentle stretch ability. It is constructed with a folded hem detail which gently holds onto your baby’s fragile head. As the head is where babies lose the most amount of their body heat, it is also how they can retain the most amount of their body heat when covered. Upon instant contact, MERINO WOOL is a naturally temperature regulating fabric in both cold and hot climates, working with your baby’s body temperature creating optimal comfort and coziness for your baby’s well-being.
The Swaddle Blanket we offer naturally, is a single layer of high quality, ecologically friendly 100% MERINO WOOL that directly touches your baby’s skin. The natural fabric construction has the ability to stretch just enough to allow your baby, when swaddled, to move the arms and legs comfortably enough as if he/she was still in the womb without restricting and yet still allowing baby’s development of hips and joints to progress through movement. At the same time, it recreates a womb-like sensation as it gently holds and hugs your baby to sleep.
Our Swaddle Blanket can be for multiple uses throughout your baby’s growth into young childhood. The versatility and multiple uses that it offers allow for extra longevity. How to care for your merino wool products?
Merino needs far less washing compared to cotton and synthetic fabrics. Often simply hanging your Merino garment outside on the line for a few hours is enough for it to refresh and renew. This is because it breathes better than any other material and is naturally antibacterial and odor resistant.
Regular airing of your Baby in Merino Products will keep them fresh. When you do wash your garments, always be sure to follow the instructions on the label.
Use environmentally friendly detergent. Wash wool preferably by hand in lukewarm water or with a wool (gentle) cycle, max. 90˚F (30˚C).
Never soak your Merino garments, as this destroys the wool fibers.
Use only soft spin and do not tumble dry.
Press moisture in a towel, reshape, and dry flat.
Do not dry wool in direct sunlight or close to a heating source.
For protection against moths, store wool clothing in a sealed plastic bag when not being used.
We recommend treating your wool garments with an environmentally friendly wool conditioner to preserve their softness and ability to absorb moisture.
Pilling
As our wool has not been treated with a synthetic coating, it may pill. If pilling occurs, do not despair. This is a natural process where friction causes the short fibers to migrate to the surface.
Thicker material then woolino swaddle. Very soft and squishy, perfect for a newborn!

My absolute favorite swaddle! (I’ve tried lots). My favorite used to be Copper Pearl for stretch and a secure swaddle, but this far surpasses. The natural fibers and breathability can’t be beat. No more sweaty babies! The shop is wonderful as well. 10/10.

The perfect baby set!
This set for babies is perfect! Both the hat and the blanket are made of some of the thickest and coziest merino wool I have ever felt. The thickness makes it almost seem felted or boiled, but it still has the stretch of a wool knit. They both keep my baby warm in differing conditions, yet also help to regulate her temperature so she doesn't overheat. Love these so much!
