85% Non-Superwash Merino Wool & 15% Silk | 180 gsm Made in Slovakia
Amazingly soft, cozy, and versatile—our Thermal Base Layer Set (also perfect as pajamas) is designed to keep your child comfortable in every season.
Crafted from a lightweight blend of 85% non-superwash Merino wool and 15% silk, this set is thinner and cooler than our 100% Merino base layers (250 gsm), making it ideal for warmer weather and transitional seasons.
Merino wool offers natural temperature regulation, breathability, and soothing softness that promotes restful sleep.
Silk adds a gentle cooling effect, helping disperse excess heat to keep your little one feeling fresh.
Why You’ll Love It
Whether you're heading out on summer camping trips, enjoying outdoor play on cooler evenings, packing for travel or sleepovers, or simply need lightweight pajamas for spring and summer, this set is a go-to essential. It also works beautifully as daywear under rompers or dresses, offering breathable comfort without bulk.
The snug yet stretchy fit allows for full freedom of movement without irritation. And for a coordinated look, it pairs beautifully with our Lemon Stardust Sleep Sack.
Bundle & Save: Get 15% OFF when you purchase any two sleep sacks or thermal base layer sets—or mix and match one of each! Use code: BUNDLEOFTWO at checkout.

Verwenden Sie umweltfreundliche Reinigungsmittel .

We absolutely love these sleep sacks. They are comfy and cozy and we love the feet out option and cover for feet. The only think I would change is make the feet/ankle cuff longer for the size 5/6. My boy has big feet and hes only 4. I'm worried the ankle/foot cuff wont fit him much longer and this is his favorite thing about it! I also wish the product was shipped with washing instructions on a card or a magnet as a reminder.
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback — we are very happy to hear that your little one loves the sleep sack, especially the feet-out feature! Thank you also for sharing your suggestions. We truly appreciate it, and we will be reviewing them with our team. Feedback like yours helps us continue improving our products.
Regarding washing instructions — these are emailed automatically after each purchase. However, we will also discuss adding a physical card inside each package as you suggested.
Warmly, Lenka

Look and feel great, and fits our little guy super well. He sleeps super comfortably in them. Would definitely buy again!
Only problem is we had to pay an import fee (30€) on top of the delivery fee (20€) once the package arrived in Germany, increasing the final price quite a bit.

Quality item, worth the price
The sleep sack is beautifully made and so soft inside and out. The two way zipper makes diaper changes a breeze and baby sleeps great with the temperature regulating quality. It also comes beautifully packaged in a little bag perfect for packing. The email with care instructions is helpful too. Baby loves being able to stand up without tripping and I like the roll over feet for cold nights. All around a wonderful sleep sack I’d recommend to anyone!

Absolutely fabulous design and quality! Feels like an heirloom piece I can pass down. Thank you!
The Disana Ladies’ Merino Wool Vest has a slightly tailored, feminine fit for style and comfort. Featuring a soft, knitted stand-up collar made from extra-fine merino wool, it gently closes around the neck without feeling restrictive.
The fully lined flexible spiral zip prevents heat loss, ensuring ultimate coziness. Once you put it on, you won’t want to take it off!
Made from the finest 100% Merino Wool – naturally warm, breathable & soft
Washing wool is simple—treat it like your own hair. Wool dislikes extreme temperatures, harsh detergents, and vigorous rubbing. By following these simple care instructions, your wool clothing will remain soft, breathable, and long-lasting.
Hand Washing:
Fill a sink or basin with lukewarm water (around 25°C) and add a mild wool detergent. Avoid regular detergents, as they contain enzymes that can break down wool fibers.
Gently submerge the garment and lightly press it in the water for 1–2 minutes. Do not rub, wring, or stretch the fabric.
Rinse with clean water at the same temperature to prevent shock and shrinkage.
Carefully press out excess water without twisting. Lay the garment on a towel, roll it up to absorb moisture, then reshape and dry flat away from direct heat and sunlight.
Machine Washing:
If you choose to use a washing machine, do so with caution. Modern machines often have a wool cycle, but settings vary. Follow these steps:
Select the Wool Wash or Hand Wash program with a maximum temperature of 30°C.
Use a low spin setting (max 400 rpm) or choose a wool program that minimizes agitation.
Always use a wool detergent to maintain fiber integrity.
Warning: Some machines may have temperature fluctuations or automatic high-speed spins, which can cause shrinkage and felting. If unsure, hand washing is the safest option.
Removing Stains:
For tough stains, ox-gall soap is an effective natural stain remover. However, it can fade colors, so always test on a hidden area first. Apply directly to the stain, let it sit briefly, then wash as usual.
How Often Should Wool Be Washed?
Wool is naturally self-cleaning. Its fibers repel dirt and odors, so frequent washing is unnecessary. Simply air out wool garments in fresh air to refresh them. Washing too often can strip wool of its natural lanolin, reducing its softness and durability.
Do I Need to Wash New Wool Garments Before Wearing?
No, Disana wool products are pre-cleaned during production and free from harmful chemicals, making them safe and comfortable to wear right away.
What If My Wool Garment Shrinks?
If a wool garment is accidentally washed at a high temperature, it may shrink and felt permanently. Unfortunately, this process cannot be reversed. However, if minor shrinkage occurs, try soaking the item in lukewarm water (25°C) and gently reshaping it before drying flat.

Care Instructions for Engel Wool & Wool/Silk Garments
Proper care ensures that your wool and wool/silk garments stay soft, durable, and comfortable. Follow these guidelines for the best results:
Before First Use
Our products do not need to be washed before wearing. After the knitting process, fabrics are pre-washed to remove any excess dye residues, knitting oils, and dirt.
All our garments are made using 100% ecologically sound methods without harmful chemicals or textile finishes. We adhere to the strict IVN BEST and GOTS certification standards, ensuring that our dyes are safe and free from substances that could cause skin irritation or harm the environment.
General Care Guidelines
Always use a wool-specific detergent, as it is enzyme-free (protease-free) and pH-neutral, preserving the integrity of wool fibers.
For a quick hand wash, a gentle, natural shampoo can be a good alternative.
Always check the garment's care label for specific washing instructions.
Hand-Washing Wool & Wool/Silk
Fill a basin with lukewarm water and add a mild wool detergent.
Gently swirl the garment in the water—do not rub, wring, or soak.
Rinse in water of the same temperature to prevent shock to the fibers.
Avoid using a tumble dryer or placing the item on a radiator, as heat can cause felting and stiffness.
After rinsing, gently squeeze out excess water using a clean towel, reshape the garment while damp, and lay flat to dry.
Machine-Washing Wool & Wool/Silk
Use the Wool Wash or Hand Wash cycle at cold or max. 30°C (86°F).
Ensure the wash and rinse temperatures remain consistent to prevent shrinkage.
Use a low spin setting (max. 400 rpm) or an interval spin for wool.
Always use a wool-specific detergent to maintain the fibers' natural properties.

If washing is necessary, follow standard wool cycle guidelines, using a wool detergent and a low spin speed (max. 400 rpm).
Do not tumble dry or place on heaters, as heat can make wool hard and brittle.
After washing, gently press out excess water using a towel, reshape while damp, and lay flat to dry.
Care Instructions for Boiled Wool

If washing is necessary, use the wool cycle at cold or max. 30°C with a wool detergent.

Avoid tumble drying and direct heat sources, as these can damage the fibers.
Reshape while damp and dry flat.
